Its a disturbing and disgusting news. Quite barbaric too. News from IBN Live : Party animals strip girl, molest her in public view
…A New Year event at Mumbai’s most famous landmark, the Gateway of India, is making news after it went horribly sour. Drunk revellers stripped and molested a woman in public view, as her friend watched helplessly…
Shadab Khan, a photographer with a local Mumbai daily, Mid-Day, was covering the event from a temporary police watchtower.

Morally deficient, filthy dirty creatures. Once considered the safest city, this is what has become of my beloved Bombay. Are Indian males so deprived!! Apparently they move in predatory mobs, preying on women. On a recent trip to India, I was cautioned by my family not to venture in trains and in buses and crowded places. At the time I said that this is not Bihar or UP, what can go wrong in mumbai? Well, here is a terrible case, my heartfelt sympathy to the victims, both the lady and her partner.
These perpetrators should be lynched and beaten to death as a deterrent to further preying on good people.
If the cameraman were on the police watch tower, why didnt the ‘police’ do their job and prevent this tragedy. why didnt the keepers of the law apprehend the miscreants right away. Where were the keepers of public safety.
Shame!

I dont know whats happening to the society ,be it mumbai or delhi, writting this reply here my hands are shaking , are we becoming animals or something , dogs , whats hapeening to these young guys , if any of them captured he should give a punishment so severe so that next time one think hundred time even to think of it once before commiting such a shamefull crime .
without giving a harsh punishment , these things will never come to an end, if somebodu is behaving like animal so he must be treated like an animal

Andrew, its been quite a while after the incident and we r near the next New Year. After the initial uproar, the news and the whole thing was brushed under the rugs it seems.
There was no further news about the incident, nothing regarding the malefactors and nothing regarding the couple. Has she came out of the trauma of not? Practically nothing.
Those Bastards got away it seems.
Its a serious aberration of Law and Order in the state. We could only watch in horror as morality is torn apart.
