This is pretty interesting… reported from Times of India and many other news papers too …
A church-run college in central Kerala has courted controversy after it “expelled” five students from its rolls for allegedly producing a short film depicting homosexuality… The film’s producer and director Jeo Baby, a first year student of MA Film and Television, told that the memos issued by the college authorities in the first week of April last said they were corrupting young minds by making an obscene movie.
The five-minute fictional film portrays a young hosteler boy and his sexual encounters with a Christian priest. It also highlights the cleric as a man of double standards as he campaigns against homosexuality in his public discourses. Reached for comments, college Principal Fr Sebastian Punnasserry hung up the phone saying, “Call later”. Later attempts to reach the Principal proved futile.
The same institution that is sworn to make people realize and relay the truth is going against it. The head of the institution who took the decision and the so called fucking moral people should first look themselves in the mirror, before correcting others.
