Pownce - The next big flick or yet another worthless imitation

I got the invitation for Pownce, from AJ, when we met for the bangalore bloggers’ meet.

Yesterday i created an account in Facebook, and i found it as a worthless imitation of Orkut. Leave alone the fact that simple things like joining a group took me 2 minutes to figure out, coz i found too many links cluttered.( i know that was silly)
Coming to Pownce. Ok, read the wikipedia page and you will get to know about the entire genesis of Pownce.

Think Digg and you have user rated links
Think Del.icio.us, you have your online bookmark sharing
Think Rapidshare, you have your fille sharing
Think Orkut, you have scraps between friends
Think of any online forum, and you have you discussions
Now think of all that in one page, just one click away and a lot simpler and less cluttered - Thats POWNCE

The interface is very appealing, very smooth, nice little crafted themes, eye-candy. Girls will adore it.

I just loved the whole thing in the first place, though i was a bit skeptical about it in the first place. I was tired of the countless invitations from all the networking sites, XYZ added you as a friend at this-is-to-bug-you.com, ABC is inviting you to driving-you-to-the-wall.com .. ohh my god!!!

But this one, is different, Orkut was one of a kind when it came and so is Pownce.
